So what’s a con?

A convention is a simply put a rolling sensory buffet. There’s costumes from familiar television and film franchises, an obscure books, manga and games. Discussions happen at all hours, both formal and informal on everything to who should play Honor Harrington to why the newest Dr Who is or isn’t the best one. There are vendors of everything from swords and jewelry to incense and books. But mostly a con is a place to spend a few days with new friends and old alternating between realities more entertaining than the one you came from.
